  • Twenty fresh, long-wearing polish colors that are “free” from the 5 most toxic ingredients found in traditional polish.

Our formula is solvent-based, NOT water-based. While water-based polish (as in our Princess Packs) have tremendous advantages, they don’t have the durability of a solvent based polish. This would be considered the safer “grown up” polish alternative.
Pure Anada Glamour Polish is amazingly long-lasting when applied with the “Over-Under” base/top coat.

  • Butylacetate, Ethylacetate, Nitrocellulose, Acetyl Tributyl  Citrate, Adipic Acid/Neopentyl, Glycol Trimellitic, Anhydride Copolymer, Isopropyl Alcohol, Acrylates Copolymer, Stearalkonium Bentonite,  Styrene Acrylates, Copolymer, Silica, Alumina, Benzophenone-1.  May contain:  Mica, Iron Oxide, Ultramarines, Manganese Violet, FD&C Colorant (CI77491, CI77499, CI77891, CI77742, CI77007, CI77891, CI158501)

Our Glamour Polish contains polymers (long chains of repeated molecules) in an acetate-based solvent.  Once the solvent dries, you are left with colorant (FD&C pigments) on your nails.  Glamour polish wears and lasts similar to traditional polish on the marketplace. However, the key difference is that it doesn’t contain several ingredients which are typically added to nail polish in order to achieve a faster dry-time, or a longer wear.

You will often see polish brands advertising they are “3 free”, or “5 free”, or even “7-free” and higher!  What does this mean? During the 2000s, there was breaking research that nail polish contained known toxic endocrine disruptors.  Some conscious nail polish brands began to create polish that were free of these top 3 toxic synthetic ingredients: toluene, formaldehyde and DBP.  Then eventually, to “one up” each other, nail polish brands began advertising the fact that their formulas excluded even more toxic ingredients. This is fantastic.  However, some of these chemicals weren’t typically found in nail polish anyway. So it became a marketing scheme of sorts. While we recognize that our Glamour Polish wouldn’t be considered “natural”, we feel it is the best choice for those who don’t want to forgo the little luxury of nail polish. It’s free from several toxic chemicals so you can be confident it’s a healthy swap from traditional products.

Longer-wear - To extend the wear of Glamour Polish, we recommend applying our base coat first, then two coats of polish and one coat of top-coat. Let each layer dry thoroughly between applications.

Removal: Use Pure Anada soy-based polish remover to remove Glamour Polish. Soak a cotton pad or ball and hold for 30 seconds to wipe away polish. Or - put small bits of a saturated cotton ball on each nail and allow it to sit for a minute. This enables the polish to be wiped off with ease!
